Jéňa has been serving full-time with Josiah Venture in the Czech Republic since September 2011. After finishing his degree in Education, Jéňa continued studying Music. During the second year of his studies, he was offered a position on the KAM team (Josiah Venture’s partner organisation in Czech). He experienced God’s calling and moved out from Prague to be close to the Josiah Venture headquarters. Since 2011, Jéňa has been part of KAM’s EXIT ministry team and led the ministry until 2021.
Jéňa is currently leading a program called Worship.ko (Worship Collective), where he is helping to develop young worship leaders and their teams.
Jéňa and Renee met in the Czech Republic while she was visiting and have been married since 2015. In 2021, Jéňa, Renee, their son Adam Christopher (born in 2018), and daughter Nela Elise (born in 2022) followed God's calling to move to the west side of the country. They serve there as they continue with KAM’s Worship.ko program. Jéňa and Renee are both involved in helping people follow Christ and supporting local ministry—Jéňa using his gifting in music and organisational skills, Renee her gifting in pastoral care and dance, and both kids in their gifting to bring joy to everyone.
