Building Your Team
What is MPD? Ministry Partner Development...building a team of committed financial and prayer partners. The support raising bootcamp is the beginning, these steps are part of the journey.
Weekly MPD Coaching Meetings
Once you have completed Bootcamp, the MPD Directors will meet with you once a week, for about 4-6 weeks in a row to help you get a good start on a rhythm of support raising. During this time, you will improve your ability to communicate your call to serve with Josiah Venture as well as how to invite others to join your team. These meetings will last about an hour.
Monthly MPD Coaching Meetings
Once you have developed a personal support raising system and rhythm that works for you, and you are confident in your communication skills when inviting others to join you, you will meet with the MPD Directors monthly for encouragement and challenge. These meetings will last about 30 minutes.
Quarterly Meetings
Every three or four months, you will meet with your HR representative, the MPD Directors, and the person who will be your uplink when you arrive on the field. These meetings give you a chance to share how things are going for you in this process, ask questions, and be encouraged (and sometimes challenged) by everyone who is involved in helping you get to the field. They will last about an hour and will replace your MPD coaching meeting for that month.
