Coronavirus Update

In recent weeks Europe has become an epicenter of the outbreak of COVID-19, with thousands becoming sick and many losing their lives. This has prompted unprecedented responses from European governments. Borders have been closed, schools shifted to online learning, meetings canceled and businesses asked to close their doors, all in an effort to slow down the spread of suffering and decrease the danger to life.
So far no one on the Josiah Venture team has been diagnosed with the virus, but everyone we are shepherding has been impacted by the crisis. Since all evangelistic and training events that were scheduled during these weeks have been canceled, our team is shifting their attention to online ministry and creative new ways to support and equip churches as they respond to this new reality.
Summer outreach events have not been canceled, but put on hold until we have more information. We are asking God for open doors to share the gospel broadly this summer, although it might take a different form. A final decision will be made by May 15th.
Pray with us that God uses this crisis to advance the gospel, deepen us personally and increase our fruitfulness to his glory.
