Our vision is to see a movement of God among the youth of Central and Eastern Europe that finds its home in the local church and transforms society.

Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.

Many of the new generation of young people have not heard the gospel. It’s our honor to join God in his redemptive work as he is bringing this new generation to himself.

Josiah Venture works in 16 countries in the region of Central and Eastern Europe through its national organizations and teams. This along with our regional training centers allows us to direct our efforts in a contextualized way.

Each country that Josiah Venture serves in has unique spiritual and ministry needs.
Today, the church is still very young, but it is exciting to see a foundation being laid for the future of the local church. However, because fifty years of spiritual darkness and martyrdom, less than one percent of Albania’s 2.9 million people are evangelical Christians.
Bulgaria sits on a crux regarding its national and spiritual identity. Following years of abandonment and skepticism, this decade has the incredible opportunity to become one that embodies hope, trust, and faith.
Croatia is one of the top vacation spots in Europe. But Croatia is not known for its spiritual heritage, rather a country that has emerged out of a bitter and divisive war in the 1990’s. There is hope.
Though it has gained recent recognition for its athletes, most notably in soccer and hockey, the Czech Republic boasts a long history of famous composers, thinkers, and innovators.
Estonia is described as positively transforming by the Estonian tourism board when explaining how their country has been changing over the past 10 years.
A recent study found that only 8% of the German teenagers, located in the eastern part of the country, believe in the existence of God. Pray with us as we build the first JV team in the eastern part of Germany.
Josiah Venture began work in Hungary in April 2012. We're asking God to raise up young Hungarian leaders that can lead their nation back to Christ. There are new opportunities for lives to be changed.
Our International Team exists to serve, empower, and equip the Josiah Venture staff and organizations, as we all fulfill the JV mission.

Poland is unique as a former Eastern Bloc country. It has known wars, holocausts, and even 120 years where the people had no land to call their own.
Few regions of Eastern Europe offer a more dazzling display of cultural and artistic treasures than Romania: medieval towns, traditional villages, magnificent architecture, majestic mountains, and seaside.
Over the past 13 years Serbia has known wars, hatred, refuges and even 78 days of a NATO bombing campaign. During this time it was the Orthodox Church that provided unity and identity for the people.
As in all the former Eastern Bloc countries, the fall of communism brought enormous cultural and spiritual change to Slovakia.
Youth are questioning the religion of their parents and great parents and are seeking the truth on their own. We have an incredible opportunity to share the Gospel and reach this nation and its youth for Christ.
Ukraine is experiencing a movement of God in the local church and is home to the fastest growing church in Europe. Discipling new believers is a key need in responding to the church‘s evangelistic success.
Our regional training centers empower European ministry leaders to be equipped with resources and tools to reach their nations for God.

In 2011, Camp and Conference Center h2o, in southern Poland, opened its doors for summer and winter camps, conferences, leadership training programs, and retreats. As one of the few year-round Christian camp facilities in Poland, h2o has an excellent platform for training the next generation of leaders. Its 17.5-acre property features a beautiful main building with a dining hall for 120, air-conditioned conference halls for 30, 80, and 150, and a cafe. Outdoor events can be held in its two large tent halls, amphitheater, or fire pit area. Guests can stay in its main building, 14 newly-remodeled cabins, or campground. Onsite attractions include: two swimming pools, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, a soccer field, and an archery area. The property, located on a lake for fishing or kayaking, lies within walking distance of the Vistula River, which boasts 30 km (18 miles) of bike path. In addition, h2o is only 30 minutes from Poland’s beautiful Beskidy Mountains and many ski slopes. Its lush surroundings, peaceful waters, and location make it the ideal setting for a Christian center.
