There are merchant fees that are charged by the credit card and hosting companies. There are approximately 3.25% of fees charged on each credit card donation. For example, the net amount of a $100 donation to Josiah Venture is $96.75. A slight increase in your donation could offset the fee. The entire amount donated, that is, the amount before credit card fees, is tax-deductible. In the example above, the $100 amount is tax-deductible.
The most cost effective method of donation is through our Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) giving option. Through this plan, your donation is automatically deducted from your checking account each month.
If the ministry is not on the list, please type in the ministry or fund name in the text field below the fund list. If we have any question about your intentions, we will contact you. The reason why you may not see a ministry listed is that some ministries may not be included for security reasons. Other new ministries or funds may not yet be set up.
All information is submitted using the 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. The SSL encryption is recognized as the security standard for online giving. Additional security exists to prevent unauthorized access to the Josiah Venture servers on which the information is stored.
